The Staten Island Business Council (SIBC), a networking group, donated $1,254 to the JCC Lucille and Jay Chazanoff Sunrise Day Camp during the first installment of its continuing “Success Series” at the Vanderbilt in South Beach.
For those who aren’t aware, Sunrise Day Camp is a free six-week summer day camp for children with cancer and their siblings. It’s the only such camp in NYC and serves children from Staten Island, Brooklyn, Manhattan and nearby New Jersey.
The featured speaker for the installment was Jonscott Turco, an international personal and professional psychologist and personal development coach, dedicated to helping others live their best life.
“We are very fortunate to be able to join forces with Jonscott Turco to bring this amazing information to local businesses,” said Allan Katz, president of the SIBC.
“This interactive session with food, drinks, laughs, and many eye opening moments was a wonderful experience for a diverse group of Staten Island business owners.”
JonScott led a group of approximately 75 business owners in an interactive dialogue regarding easy to follow steps towards living your best life and achieving both personal and professional successes.
Allan said Jonscott gave of his time so that SIBC could donate all profits to the JCC Sunrise Day Camp, “a fun-packed summer camp completely free of charge — an invaluable association that is truly making a difference in families lives.”
